This is the secondary and HEPA filter for the Riccar Moonlight, and Simplicity Jack compact canister models. Each filter set includes 1 secondary, and 1 HEPA filter. The secondary filter can be washed, but it should be replaced at least once a year. If someone in your household suffers from breathing issues, or allergies, you should replace these filters every 6 months.
